The Plant IV Final Finish Setup Tech will set up and adjust Final Finish equipment, detect and correct equipment issues using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic knowledge, and ensure all setups and adjustments follow company standards. This role involves observing and adjusting machinery for continuous operations, supervising the first tire run after setup, and reacting quickly to equipment downtime. The position is also responsible for correct labor time entry and recording, performing assigned work for machine efficiency and quality, and following standard practices and instructions with accuracy. Additionally, the role requires ensuring all ESH procedures, policies, and legal requirements are implemented and monitored. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
1 year Continental Manufacturing experience or 2 years mechanical experience.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
No relocation assistance is offered for this position.

Responsibilities

Setup and adjust Final Finish equipment including, but not limited to, TUO, Micro-poise, Balance Grinders, Conicity Grinders, SOL, Geometry, and Gantry controls.
Setup, detect, adjust, and correct equipment using electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic knowledge of TUO, bouncers, sheet of light, and geometry.
Make all necessary setups and adjustments following company standards.
Observe and make necessary machinery adjustments to assure continuous operations.
Supervise the first tire/tires run following a setup or adjustments and approve for production.
React quickly to equipment downtime or other extraordinary conditions, and notify supervision whenever such conditions occur.
Responsible for ensuring correct entry and recording of their labor time.
Perform all work indicated, required, or assigned by supervision related to high machine efficiency and high quality production.
Follow standard practices and instructions with a high degree of accuracy.
Perform other duties as directed by the Supervisor or Department Manager.
Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
