The Plant IT Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining all computer and network components within the plant, including servers, network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and workstations. This role also involves handling vendor access requests, managing software licenses, and overseeing security camera and access control systems. The technician will utilize knowledge of Cisco phone systems and Kronos clock systems, and will be involved with all "Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems". Key duties include working with end-users to propose new hardware and software solutions, testing modifications before production implementation, providing hardware and software diagnostics, collaborating with Department Managers on projects, and assisting the Automation Electronic and Instrumentation Team. The role also requires communicating plant system outages and notices, and performing other assigned duties.
