About The Position
Stefanini Group is hiring a Plant IT Engineer in Wayne, MI. The successful candidate will work with a global team to provide support for applications and infrastructure on the plant floor, including technical troubleshooting, data analysis, and problem resolution. This role will also lead efforts to ensure manufacturing applications meet client productivity goals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with Business Process Support.
- Experience with Operations Support Systems.
- Experience with Desktop Support.
- Experience with Server Support/Services.
- Experience with Application Support.
- Experience with Technical Support.
- Experience in Manufacturing.
- High School Diploma / GED.
Nice To Haves
- Any plant floor automation experience is highly desired (Control systems, PLC's, etc.).
Responsibilities
- Support a multi-shift operation in a manufacturing plant.
- Provide technical support (I.T. Applications, Infrastructure, operating systems, end-user-productivity tools) to plant business customers throughout the manufacturing plant.
- Interface with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts.
- Support Plant Floor Systems / PDO teams in resolving incidents.
- Provide hands and feet support to global teams (e.g. DBA, Server Operations, Ops Control, Network Operations) if necessary.
- Focus on the integration / long term maintenance of applications.
- Assist team lead with managing assignments and workload.
- Develop, maintain, and share accurate support documentation.
