Plant Helper - Crane Operator
About The Position
Responsible for safe crane operations and transportation of molten metal and processed/finished material. Follow all Hoeganaes safety, quality and environmental policies and procedures. Follow job specific Work Instructions which pertain to the job assignment. Operate all crane equipment moving steel and processed/finished material. Operate mobile equipment. Communicate via two-way radio. Maintain a safe and clean work area. Notify supervision of abnormal conditions, keep logs on all equipment, and maintain daily check lists. Perform all tasks requested by the Supervisor and/or other management personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to work overtime on short notice is required.
- Good communication skills – written and verbal
Nice To Haves
- 2-5 years of previous crane operation experience in an industrial or construction setting is preferred.
