About The Position

We're looking for a Crane Operator to join our team in Cleveland, OH. You will be responsible for safely operating a crane to lift, move, and position metal materials within the facility. This includes lifting and transporting metal materials using attachments such as magnets or grapples, and safely placing them in designated areas or processing equipment. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and load security. Collaboration and effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other personnel are essential. Additionally, you will conduct pre and post inspections of the crane and perform overall crane maintenance. You may also be asked to operate other heavy equipment such as a Shear or Loader.

Requirements

• Crane Operator certification and/or experience is required
• Minimum of 1 years of experience operating a crane in a heavy industrial setting
• Attention to detail and the ability to accurately position and handle different types of metal materials
• Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to crane operation and material handling
• Familiarity with various crane attachments, such as magnets or grapples
