Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in plant health care, arboriculture, lawn care, and/or a related field
  • Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License
  • Working knowledge of tree and shrub pest and disease identification
  • Experience with pesticide application equipment and safe handling procedures
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Nice To Haves

  • ISA Arborist Certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat tree and shrub health concerns including pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies
  • Perform PHC treatments such as fertilization, pest management, disease control, soil care, and related applications
  • Apply pesticides, fertilizers, and treatment materials safely according to label instructions and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct inspections, monitor plant health, and document treatments, materials used, and follow-up needs
  • Support Integrated Pest Management programs based on site conditions, seasonal timing, and client goals
  • Operate, maintain, and stock PHC equipment, tools, materials, and company vehicles
  • Communicate findings and service updates professionally with clients, managers, and team members
  • Prepare for daily service visits by reviewing work orders, materials, and site needs
  • Help train and support junior PHC Technicians as needed
  • Follow all safety, PPE, pesticide, and compliance procedures in the field
