About The Position

The Plant Health Care Specialist monitors, diagnoses, and treats tree and shrub health issues within a specific territory. The work includes inspecting plant material, identifying pests, diseases, and other concerns, selecting and applying appropriate treatments, preparing written diagnostic reports, and educating clients about their landscapes. The specialist operates spray and application equipment safely and effectively and works independently to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction. This outdoor role is suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and protecting and enhancing the natural environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with responsibility and care.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage effectively with clients.
• Willingness to learn plant and tree identification and safe equipment use.
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate service-line vehicles.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or a related field; related experience is also preferred.
