About The Position
The Plant Foreman – Second Shift is responsible for supervising and coordinating all production activities during the second shift at the Fencecrete America manufacturing facility. This hands-on leadership role ensures that precast concrete products are produced safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. The Plant Foreman serves as the direct link between plant management and production crew members.
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, concrete production, or a related industry
- Prior supervisory or lead experience in a production/plant environment
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and safety practices
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules, work orders, and drawings
- Ability to work second shift, including weekends as needed
- Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in outdoor/industrial conditions
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Experience in precast concrete, masonry, or construction materials manufacturing
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Forklift certification
- High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical training a plus
Responsibilities
- Enforce all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Ensure all safety rules and procedures are followed by every member on his/her team
- Conduct daily safety briefings at the start of each shift
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions or behaviors immediately
- Complete incident/accident reports and participate in investigations as needed
- Ensure proper use of PPE by all crew members
- Supervise and direct second shift production crew to meet daily output goals
- Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to maintain efficiency
- Operate and oversee the operation of precast concrete manufacturing equipment
- Ensure all products meet Fencecrete America quality specifications and standards
- Coordinate material needs, equipment setup, and crew assignments at shift start
- Report shift production results, delays, and issues to Plant Manager and document them
