About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, installing, maintaining, and modifying production and facility equipment. The role requires the ability to work on Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, and PLCs/microprocessor control systems. The associate must be able to multitask, prioritize, and communicate effectively at all levels. Safe work habits, including climbing ladders up to 25 feet and working on rooftops, are essential. The position also involves troubleshooting plumbing issues and operating forklifts and scissor lifts. The employee will regularly talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear, and may need to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities are required, and the employee may be exposed to heat, flame, chemicals, and noises. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with potential requirements for weekends, overtime, and on-call duties.

Requirements

Certification/diploma from an accredited technical institution in Industrial Maintenance or Industrial Electronic Technology or equivalent is required.
Ten+ years of relevant experience would also be considered.
Must be able to work independently and with a team.
Attention to detail is a MUST with this job.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Reading, writing and math skills are required.
Ability to work flexible hours, if required.
Ability to climb ladders up to 25 feet high.
Securely work on rooftops 25 feet off the ground level.
Troubleshooting plumbing issues within the plant.
Operate forklifts.
Operate scissor lift.
Regularly required to talk, sit, walk, stand, and hear.
May be required to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch.
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
May be exposed to heat, flame, chemicals, and noises.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in Maintenance.

Responsibilities

Perform any other general duties as deemed necessary by the shift manager.
Arrive early enough to store personal items in assigned locker.
Punch in no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the beginning of their assigned shift and no later than 5 minutes prior to the beginning of their assigned shift and punch out no earlier than the shift will end.
Attend the pre-shift safety meeting.
Wear assigned PPE in designated areas and when performing specific tasks throughout the shift.
Follow all safety rules to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.
Report to assigned work area and begin work immediately following the pre-shift safety/information meeting.
Remain in good standing with attendance.
Troubleshooting, repairing, installing, maintaining & modifying production & facility equipment.
Work on Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatics, Hydraulics & PLCs / microprocessor control systems.
