About The Position
A small, hands-on manufacturing company specializing in advanced materials, is seeking a Plant Engineer to support plant operations, projects, and process improvements. This is an onsite role focused on leading plant projects, supporting equipment design/installation, and improving production efficiency. You’ll work closely with maintenance, contractors, and leadership to keep operations running smoothly in a 24/5 manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Engineering background (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical)
- 5+ years in production/manufacturing environment
- Basic PLC and controls knowledge
- Strong hands-on, problem-solving mindset
Responsibilities
- Lead and support plant projects, process improvements, and waste management initiatives
- Oversee equipment design, installation, and upgrades
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Provide technical support for plant operations and expansion efforts
- Work with systems including pumps, motors, valves, controls, and PLCs
