About The Position

We are seeking a Plant Engineer to join our Operations team in Gastonia, NC. This position will be responsible for improving manufacturing processes, supporting facility operations, developing continuous improvement initiatives, and helping drive efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• At least 1 year of process engineering experience
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Experience with process engineering software
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

• ISO and Lean Manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency and cost reduction
• Analyze manufacturing processes and workflows and recommend improvements
• Design and test process upgrades and new process systems
• Troubleshoot production and process issues
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and process documentation
• Support production control systems, KPIs, quality control, and employee training
• Ensure processes meet safety and quality standards
• Conduct facility inspections and support building-related improvement projects
• Work closely with plant departments to improve manufacturing methods and performance
