About The Position

The Facility EHS Manager leads and manages the facility’s safety, health, and environmental activities, building a strong safety culture with a zero-harm focus while ensuring compliance with government regulations and company requirements. The role provides guidance and support to the facility on safety and environmental aspects of operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in safety, environment, or a related field, or relevant work experience equivalent to a degree.
• Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret governmental safety and environmental regulations, such as OSHA regulations.
• Personality, presence, and confidence to lead meetings and coach peers and leaders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently, prioritize work, and achieve deliverables.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with pertinent OSHA, EPA, and OBE requirements, programs, and regulations.
• Maintain the company database and safety- and environmental-related records in accordance with federal, state, local, and company requirements.
• Oversee, evaluate, and continuously improve facility safety initiatives to meet applicable standards and build a strong safety culture.
• Support development of the annual Safety Plan.
• Coordinate required facility safety documentation, including JSAs, Machine Guarding and PPE Assessments, and New Equipment Evaluations.
• Review and ensure proper updating and compliance of facility written programs, including LOTO, PIT, and Hazcom.
