About The Position

The Plant Director, Twinsburg sets the strategic direction and leads manufacturing operations within Rockwell Automation's Twinsburg, Ohio facility. This role focuses on improving and updating core strategies and goals of manufacturing operations, including increasing manufacturing processes and culture through the Rockwell Operating Excellence (ROX) program, delivering and improving manufacturing execution through adherence to standard processes, continuing to improve the Connected Enterprise and Connected Supply Chain, and implementing a workforce strategy that fosters employee development and future leadership. The Plant Director is expected to pursue these accountabilities with a focus on execution to achieve world-class, flexible manufacturing performance that enhances customer satisfaction and optimizes operational costs. Additionally, the role involves guiding an inclusive work environment and developing future globally diverse talent.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 12 years of management experience leading a mix of both manufacturing operations and supply chain.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain or engineering.
  • Master's degree/MBA a plus.
  • Supply chain experience with some depth in planning, scheduling, inventory management, logistics or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience with manufacturing industrial/technical products, with a preference for individuals with experience manufacturing electromechanical products.
  • Experience developing global supply chain and operations strategies.
  • A record of recognizing and developing top talent and future leaders, mentoring, and building teams.
  • A demonstrated history of driving positive change by influencing, convincing and persuading others up the organization, laterally and below.

Responsibilities

  • Develop annual operational plans in partnership with the VP Manufacturing and other senior leaders, while achieving progress towards long-range plans.
  • Work with other ISC functions to achieve a collaborative approach to realizing common goals.
  • Lead a team of direct reports to maximize operational performance with a focus on safety, quality, cost, service, inventory, and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with dotted line partners in Finance and Human Resources.
  • Build relationships across the matrix organization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement with Rockwell Automation's ROX team to ensure manufacturing capabilities exceed industry and customer requirements for safety, cost, quality, and responsiveness.
