About The Position

The Plant Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment at the Kansas Rd. location. This role involves daily cleaning tasks, dust control, general housekeeping, and operating an industrial truck to transport materials. The custodian will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of warehouse and storage areas, and adhering to Food Safety and cGMP policies.

Requirements

High School diploma/or GED.

Responsibilities

Mopping oil on floor around each molding machine daily; monitor/track severity of oil leak conditions on each machine
Detailed cleaning of injection Molding and AMO machines, includes clamp and injection ends of machines
Dust control and removal in the production area and blending room
General housekeeping of production floor and aisles
Develop schedule and perform overhead cleaning of production area
Cleaning of warehouse and storage areas for all raw material and product
Arrange boxes, material, handtrucks, or other industrial equipment in a neat orderly manner
Clean lint, dust, oil, and grease from machines, overhead pipes, and conveyors
Clean screens and filters
Clean floors and apply floor drier
Pick up reusable scrap for salvage and store in containers
Transport trash and waste to disposal area
Replace light bulbs around work stations
Operate industrial truck to transport materials within plant
Follows applicable Food Safety and cGMP policies.
All other duties as assigned
