Plant Controller
About The Position
As the Minneapolis Plant Controller, you will be primarily responsible for living the safety stance, while adhering to all safety standards and responsibilities. You will ensure the proper existence of & adherence to compliance and internal controls. You will partner with the Plant Leader to lead operations planning & plant processes. You will conduct financial planning, forecasting, reporting & analysis to create financial transparency and to encourage effective decision-making. You will actively lead and contribute within a cross-functional leadership team, drive plant productivity, and lead a team of 3 direct reports in purchasing, buying, raw materials and shipping/transportation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a relevant discipline
- 5+ years experience in cost accounting
- Ability to be flexible and effectively manage competing priorities
- Ability to operate within a matrixed organization
- Some ERP experience
- Desire to lead in a manufacturing setting
Nice To Haves
- MBA, CMA, CPA preferred
- Preference to a manufacturing background
