About The Position

The Plant Controller will lead all financial activities and reporting integrity for the Boston-area manufacturing operations, serving as a key strategic partner to senior leadership. This role involves overseeing plant controllership, partnering closely with production teams to improve cost control, efficiency, and productivity. The controller will manage end-to-end supply chain financial oversight, including procurement, freight, inventory, warehousing, and planning. Key responsibilities also include driving FP&A activities such as monthly close, forecasting (IBP), variance analysis, and financial reporting to support decision-making. The position requires providing strategic leadership through financial planning, capital investment oversight (CAPEX), KPI development, and advanced analytics to improve operational performance. Cross-functional collaboration with Operations, R&D, sales, and marketing is essential, along with influencing stakeholders, leading change initiatives, and developing high-performing teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting/business
  • Significant senior finance experience in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Strong technical expertise in GAAP.
  • Strong technical expertise in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
  • Strong technical expertise in advanced analytics tools (Excel, BI platforms).
  • Proven leadership.
  • Proven communication.
  • Proven strategic thinking.
