About The Position

The Plant Associate/Plant Worker performs assigned operations and tasks safely and efficiently in a production environment. The role interacts with customers, employees, managers, and regulatory representatives, requiring professionalism and discretion in each interaction. Responsibilities include handling incoming waste, separating waste for incineration, scanning and staging waste, operating autoclave and tub-wash processes, decontaminating vehicles, maintaining housekeeping and inventory, and assisting with other plant operations as directed. The position may require travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary, less than 10%.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Pleasant demeanor when interacting with employees, customers, vendors, and regulators.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands.
Ability to quickly grasp and adapt to new tasks and protocols.
Ability to work an agreed-upon standard schedule and additional hours as job duties demand.
Current, valid driver's license.
Ability to be insurable under the company's liability insurance policy.
Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
Ability to push and pull carts up to 250 lbs.
Ability to climb in and out of vehicles and cargo areas.
Ability to stand for significant periods and walk extended distances.
Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and crawl.
May need the ability to operate and be certified on various powered equipment.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varied noise and extreme temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.
2–4 years of lead supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure all equipment is working properly.
Unload waste from incoming vehicles.
Separate non-autoclavable waste to be incinerated.
Stage or properly stack waste for scanning.
Scan waste into the NavuSoft system for record keeping.
Load autoclave bins with waste for processing.
Place reusable containers on the tub-wash line for decontamination.
Operate the tub-wash unit and ensure it is operating properly.
Remove clean tubs from the wash unit, inspect them, and stack them for loading onto an assigned vehicle for reuse.
Operate the tub-wash sprayer for oversized reusable tubs, ensure it is operating properly, inspect the tubs, and stack them for loading onto an assigned vehicle for reuse.
Decontaminate vehicles’ cargo-carrying portions, reload assigned reusable tubs, and ensure there is no free liquid on the vehicle floor.
Inform the plant supervisor when a vehicle is ready to be moved from the dock area.
Address housekeeping issues immediately, including cleaning spills, drying floors, and removing debris.
Assist in other areas of plant operations as directed.
Pull orders and load supplies onto trucks for next-day service.
Help keep inventory supplies in order.
Perform other tasks and responsibilities as needed or assigned.
Travel to domestic Trilogy facilities when necessary (less than 10%).
