About The Position

KIK Consumer Products is seeking a Plant Administrator to provide essential support to the Plant Manager and Human Resource Manager. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth HR operations by managing administrative tasks, implementing HR policies, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The position is Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility required for alternate shifts to communicate with off-shift teams. The pay rate is $26.00 per hour plus overtime as needed.

Requirements

  • High school Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of related experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse setting is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel, or similar software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Multilingual skills are a strong asset, with proficiency in French, Creole, and/or Spanish to effectively communicate within a diverse workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support, including preparing reports, maintaining files, handling communication, and assisting with HR projects.
  • Ensure location compliance with labor laws and regulations, and assist with HR-related audits and reporting.
  • Assist employees with questions and issues related to workplace policies, employee concerns, and conflict resolution.
  • Assist with payroll submission.
  • Support the hiring process by posting job openings, scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, submitting new employee background checks, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
  • Complete Forms I-9, verify I-9 documentation, and maintain I-9 files.
