About The Position

The Plant Administrator efficiently and accurately inputs, updates, and maintains orders, agent records, and account information in the company’s systems. This role supports supply chain and logistics activities within a manufacturing environment and ensures that order processing and related data remain accurate, timely, and well organized.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment in a similar administrative or order entry role.
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience with order entry, order processing, and order fulfillment.
  • Experience with import and export of raw materials.
  • Background in supply chain or logistics support.
  • Proficiency using an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Experience using Salesforce for managing customer or account information.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook for email and scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for basic data organization and tracking.
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional phone presence and clear communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a plant administrator, order administrator, or similar role in manufacturing.
  • Experience working with other ERP systems beyond SAP.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfort working closely with supply chain, logistics, and inventory teams.
  • Interest in potential long-term opportunities, as the contract may be extended or converted to a permanent role depending on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain orders, agent details, and account information in the company database on a timely basis.
  • Perform data entry for order processing, order fulfillment, and purchase orders, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Support import and export activities of raw materials by maintaining precise records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure smooth processing and tracking of orders.
  • Use an ERP system, such as SAP, to manage order data, inventory information, and related transactions.
  • Utilize Salesforce and Outlook to manage customer and agent communication, and to track account activities.
  • Provide customer service support by responding to inquiries and resolving order-related issues in a professional manner.
  • Maintain inventory and order records to support accurate reporting and operational planning.
  • Use Microsoft Excel to organize, track, and analyze order and inventory data as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high accuracy.
  • Answer phones with a professional presence and direct calls or messages to the appropriate contacts.
