Requirements

  • High school education preferred.
  • Strong reading and writing skills.
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in purchasing, bookkeeping, and scheduling.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills and ERP or MRP experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service mindset with flexibility, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Office-based role with some plant floor exposure, including noise and weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE when working in designated areas.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct clients, applicants, visitors, and employees, including visitor sign-in and general front office support.
  • Answer and route calls, receive and distribute mail, and support day-to-day administrative communication.
  • Maintain office organization, supplies, branded items, food, and catering needs to support plant operations and employee activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for vendors, including janitorial, uniform, vending, and PPE providers.
  • Reconcile and process purchase orders and purchasing activities, including higher volume or higher dollar purchasing as needed.
  • Support employee events, training sessions, audits, tours, engagement activities, recognition programs, orientations, and related plant initiatives.
  • Schedule production meetings and prepare or coordinate reports to support plant operations.
  • Participate in training, safety programs, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support production scheduling and customer service activities as needed.
  • Provide additional administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned.
