The Plans & Scheduler is responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries. This role involves the day-to-day operations of an aircraft Plans and Scheduling office in accordance with AFI 21-101 and other applicable instructions in support of Executive Airlift Maintenance. Key functions include production control, aircraft scheduling, developing operational and maintenance scheduling requirements, attending meetings, advising leadership on maintenance status, coordinating with Operations, and serving as the scheduling focal point for various operational offices. The position also manages inspection work packages, aircraft phase flow, documentation, configuration management, and various programs like Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO), Time Change (TCI), and Special Inspections (SI). Additionally, it involves managing the Aerospace Vehicle Distribution Officer (AVDO) responsibilities, coordinating the depot program, and reconciling flying hour data.
