About The Position

The Planning & Scheduling Manager is responsible for issuing and tracking work orders, ensuring that required material is supplied to the production floor according to the production schedule. This position is also responsible for expediting and prioritizing work orders and coordinating and managing production schedules.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiative, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study is preferred or 10+ years of experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage production schedules to ensure 100% on-time delivery of customer orders.
• Analyze sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
• Interface with manufacturing personnel, purchasing personnel, etc. on material status and production planning issues.
• Manage and oversee daily shipping activities with the Shipping Clerk
