About The Position

Mastertaste Inc. seeks Planning Manager at its facility located at 160 Terminal Avenue, Clark, NJ 07066. This role involves implementing and embedding sales and operations planning strategies within the planning and scheduling function. The Planning Manager will lead the planning and scheduling team, establish supply chain KPIs/metrics, and lead the governance around supply chain excellence and tactical planning meetings. The position supports the planning team to ensure decisions and production plans align with business strategy and deliver high customer service at optimum cost. It also involves analyzing and defining continuous improvement opportunities, analyzing key performance metrics, and ensuring adequate resources for planning and scheduling activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Manufacturing, Logistics, Computer Science or a related field.
3 years of experience in supply chain or related occupation.
Robust user level knowledge of supply chain systems (SAP APO/ECC).
Production Planning and/or scheduling activities within a manufacturing environment.
Project Management experience.
Experience in complex manufacturing environment with strong knowledge of demand/Supply Planning and supporting financial systems.

Responsibilities

Implement and embed the sales and operations planning strategies within the planning and scheduling function.
Lead the planning and scheduling team to ensure the team are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and teamwork.
Establish supply chain KPI's/metrics in alignment with business strategy.
Lead the defined governance around supply chain excellence and tactical planning meetings, supporting with key inputs to the supply chain weekly strategy reviews.
Support the planning team to ensure decisions and production plans are carried out that align with business strategy and deliver the highest level of customer service at optimum cost.
Analyze and define continuous improvement opportunities to streamline business processes.
Analyze key performance metrics and ensure team members are taking appropriate actions to improve or sustain performance.
Ensure the required level of resources are in place and deployed appropriately to conduct all planning and scheduling activities in support of business needs.
