About The Position

The Master Scheduler will be responsible for leading the S&OP process and all supporting functions including scheduling, customer commitments, forecasting and supplier management. The role will drive and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered.
Experience with ERP systems.
Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally.
Very strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Experience leading continuous improvement efforts within production planning and scheduling processes.
Demonstrated skills using MS Office Suite applications, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage a build plan to support customer commitments, including internally manufactured items and those within the supply chain.
Load and manage product and customer forecasts, ensuring timely inputs from Sales and Product Managers for ongoing sales and new product introductions.
Ensure the build plan is executed to meet customer commitments.
Identify and escalate gaps in the build plan, coordinating customer response and recovery.
Review capacity and build requirements internally and with suppliers to ensure utilization and attainment of the build plan.
Develop, monitor, and optimize supply chain programs to meet customer lead-time expectations.
Deliver performance within established KPIs such as forecast accuracy and on-time delivery.
Analyze and report manufacturing capacities for predicting labor needs and schedule issues.
Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
Adhere to and drive accuracy of quality system standards pertaining to the job.
Participate as a member of the Manufacturing management team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
