About The Position
The Master Scheduler will be responsible for leading the S&OP process and all supporting functions including scheduling, customer commitments, forecasting and supplier management. The role will drive and deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered.
- Experience with ERP systems
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally.
- Very strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience leading continuous improvement efforts within production planning and scheduling processes
- Demonstrated skills using MS Office Suite applications, especially Excel.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a build plan to support our customer commitments. The plan will include a mix of internally manufactured items as well as those within the supply chain.
- Load and manage product and customer forecasts. Ensure Sales and Product Managers provide timely inputs for on-going sales as well as new product introductions.
- Ensure build plan is executed to deliver on customer commitments. Identify and escalate gaps in the build plan and coordinate customer response and recovery.
- Review capacity and build requirements internally and with suppliers to assure utilization and attainment of build plan.
- Develop, monitor and optimize supply chain programs to execute to customer lead-time expectations.
- Delivers performance within established KPIs such as forecast accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Analyze and report manufacturing capacities for use in predicting labor needs and schedule issues.
- Train, develop, and evaluate employees.
- Adheres to drives accuracy of quality system standards pertaining to the job.
- Participate as a member of the Manufacturing management team.
- Performs other duties as assigned
