About The Position

The Planning Manager is responsible for leading an established team of planning professionals responsible for all aspects of factory and material scheduling as well as inventory control within aerospace plant operations. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient management, integration and continuous improvement of Supply Chain management processes. This position reports to the Sr. Director Supply Chain and is part of the Supply Chain team located in New Port Richey Florida and will be an on-site role. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or relevant field with 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Supply Planning in global manufacturing and supply chain environment or HS Diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience leading staff or project team with significant data analysis related to supply planning including data visualization tools, advanced planning software and ERP.
  • Experience driving the supply chain including oversight of inventory levels and collaboration with planning and sourcing staff.
  • Demonstrated abilities in developing and implementing strategic planning efforts (3-18 month timeframe) as well as strong presentation skills and ability to make recommendations and influence senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in replenishment systems (KanBan, Min/Max, CBO), Lean and Six Sigma as applied to factory/supplier scheduling and execution.
  • U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.

  • Understanding of the RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Actions) and Counter Measures (CM) processes and Action Plan implementation.
  • Leading planning organizations in a low volume, high mix Aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a planning team while owning the weekly/monthly Supply plan for the New Port Richey Plant and reconciling against the demand plan to highlight any gaps or major changes.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet demand expectations, minimizing stock-outs whilst ensuring inventory is turning at targeted levels.
  • Develop tools to predict future risks, increase accuracy in supply planning and provide insight for executive decision making.
  • Develop a cohesive and logical planning strategy covering aspects such as Sales Inventory and Operations Plan (SIOP), planning timeframes, material scheduling, material replenishment, supplier lead times and factory build process/schedules.
  • Work closely with Operation Value Stream Leaders and Purchasing team to assure an optimized material stock room structure and process.
