About The Position

Kimley-Horn is looking for students to join our Lehi, Utah (UT) office! This is not a remote position. Responsibilities include contributing to the pre-construction planning, modification, permitting, and analysis for multiple projects ranging in size and scope. The intern will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment. They will develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards. The role involves evaluating development proposals to identify compliance with zoning regulations, preparing planning and land use studies, and coordinating with various municipal and state agencies.

Requirements

  • In the process of receiving a degree (Bachelors or Masters) from an accredited program in of the following majors: Aviation Management, Airport Management, Aviation Business Administration, Urban & Regional Planning, Transportation Planning, Community & Regional Planning, or Other Related Major.
