About The Position

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is onsite in New Berlin, Wisconsin.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field at an accredited U.S. institution.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting warehouse and fulfillment operations to ensure efficient material flow and order execution.
  • Analyzing operational data and developing reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Assisting with demand forecasting, inventory planning, and supply chain performance tracking.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support planning, logistics, and customer delivery objectives.
  • Maintaining planning metrics, dashboards, and inventory records to support decision-making.
  • Contributing to process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and service levels.
