About The Position

The Production Control Expeditor coordinates and expedites actions on materials, parts and assemblies between departments while supporting production schedules to ensure customer commitments are satisfied.

Requirements

Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
ERP system experience required
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, with all levels of the organization and customers
Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions
Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and assignments to meet established goals and deadlines
Ability to initiate projects and tasks as required to fulfill goals and deadlines
Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
Strong decision-making skills; utilizing sound judgement and thorough processes
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years of relevant job experience

Responsibilities

Release and Track shop floor work orders and packets based on Control Points and APS schedules
Review production schedules and related information, and confer with other departments to determine part status, identify overdue, and track material/parts through production
Manage priorities & determine work order sequence in assigned work centers
May enter work orders in ERP system for each manufacturing sales order
Compile information from various system resources to communicate with all departments regarding work flow
Coordinate action plans for stalled work orders to ensure a constant flow through the production process
Coordinate with receiving and shipping to make sure customer commitments are met
Interface with all departments, as needed, regarding problems or status related to work orders
Monitor Job Cycle Time within assigned work centers
