About The Position

The Planning Coordinator works closely with the Senior Production & Inventory Planner to support customer order fulfillment, production scheduling, inventory management, and planning activities while developing a strong foundation in manufacturing and supply chain planning. This early-career role is ideal for individuals with foundational planning or supply chain experience who enjoy working with data, coordinating across teams, and supporting customer fulfillment. The Planning Coordinator will work closely with Customer Service, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to support order management and planning activities in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Up to 3 years of experience supporting production planning, customer order management, inventory control, or supply chain operations, preferably using an ERP system.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships across manufacturing, logistics, quality, customer service, and supply chain teams.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a semiconductor, chemical manufacturing, or advanced technology environment preferred.
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review MES production data to support scheduling and inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with demand planning activities by gathering and analyzing customer forecast information.
  • Review, process, and maintain customer orders and schedules from receipt through shipment.
  • Coordinate with planning and manufacturing teams to align customer demand with production capacity.
  • Support the development and maintenance of production and shipment schedules.
  • Track inventory levels and assist in balancing supply with customer requirements.
  • Support management of inventory availability across the supply chain network to ensure uninterrupted production operations while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
  • Assist in balancing material supply, production requirements, and storage capacity constraints through proactive planning and inventory positioning.
  • Communicate order updates, delivery commitments, and potential delays to internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor planning activities and escalate potential supply chain risks that could impact production or customer deliveries.
  • Generate reports and metrics related to order fulfillment, inventory, and planning performance.
  • Maintain planning, inventory, and customer order information within the ERP system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on planning processes, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
