Planning and Portfolio Manager, Apple Store Online
About The Position
The Planning and Portfolio Management Team provides planning and stewardship of a large portfolio of projects across the Retail organization. We work closely with project managers, leadership and other parts of Apple to craft a strategic, synchronized plan that helps the Retail Organization realize its goals. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated excellence in planning and portfolio management. The ideal person will be able to effectively lead a team of planning professionals and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders. You are strategically minded, an excellent communicator, and analytical.
Requirements
- 7+ years managing large, dynamic project portfolios
- 3+ years leading a portfolio management, planning or PMO team
- Experience working with Engineering and technology teams
- Strong understanding of data analysis, forecasting and reporting methodologies
- Proven ability to take initiative, foster trust and build strong, productive relationships, with cross-functional teams and partners
Nice To Haves
- Experience working effectively in a highly-matrixed organization across timezones
- Preferred project management professional (PMP) or portfolio management professional (PfMP) certification
- BA/BS in Business Administration or related field or relevant professional experience
