About The Position

Develops cost estimates on individual parts and updates the MRP system accordingly. Performs job planning, routing, and steps based on estimates. Reviews customer drawings and understands the scope of work to build. Utilizes knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to estimate costs. Reviews existing cost components and plans for improvement. Obtains pricing for materials. Obtains bids from subcontractors and overhead costs incurred in the manufacture of items. Additional duties, as assigned.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
• Must work well with others.
• Must be able to work the scheduled shift and meet company attendance requirements.
• Must be flexible enough to work overtime or modify work hours on short notice, if production deadlines require it.
