About The Position

DSV is seeking a Planner to join their Solutions division. This full-time role requires a solid foundation in warehouse distribution mechanics and logistics software. The Planner will be responsible for various aspects of warehouse operations, including system expertise, technical proficiency, industry experience, wave planning, distribution strategies, carrier tendering, dispatching, and problem-solving. The position is based in Fort Worth, USA.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in warehouse distribution mechanics and logistics software.
• Proven experience utilizing JDA / Blue Yonder (or a closely comparable Tier-1 WMS) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Sheets and other Google Workspace services (Docs, Drive, Gmail) for data tracking and communication.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution center environment.
• Strong background in order distribution strategies and wave planning mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with carrier tendering, dispatching protocols, and transportation scheduling.
• Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot inventory blocks and optimize freight configurations on the fly.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with warehouse floor operations, inventory teams, and external carriers.

Responsibilities
