We are currently seeking a Project Planner / Scheduler to join our team in Vancouver. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting project delivery through effective planning, scheduling, and progress measurement, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of planning/scheduling experience within capital projects, ideally in petrochemical, industrial, or maintenance environments
  • Strong experience developing and managing schedules using Primavera (P6) or similar tools
  • Solid understanding of project management and project controls principles
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience with progress measurement and performance tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Degree or diploma in engineering, project management, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of construction contracts and delivery models
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary project environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules (Level 3–4) across all phases of the project lifecycle
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Support project controls setup, including coding structures and reporting frameworks
  • Track and report on construction progress and performance
  • Prepare and update master project schedules, including construction, shutdown, and commissioning plans
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure accurate planning inputs and alignment with delivery objectives
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and reporting
