About The Position

The Planner Scheduler owns day-to-day work order management and short-term production scheduling in a complex manufacturing environment. The role releases, prioritizes, sequences, tracks, and closes work orders in SAP, adjusting schedules as real-time shop-floor conditions and priorities change. It ensures SAP data accuracy, drives timely completion of open and late work orders, and collaborates with Manufacturing and other stakeholders to maintain production flow and schedule adherence. This is a permanent role based in Somerset, New Jersey. It is described as a hybrid position and involves working closely with Manufacturing Supervisors and Project Managers on the shop floor. The manufacturing environment produces and services complex machines used to create devices for the digital age, with a focus on advanced technology, problem-solving, collaboration, and material science and production needs.
