Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Requirements

Associate's in supply chain, business or technical field OR minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
Experience working independently in a dynamic, business/manufacturing environment
Computer Literate in MS Office

Responsibilities

Report regularly to management on status, performance, and key metrics for assigned products.
Manage the master production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production variability.
Coordinate demand recognition in MRP for new product introductions and product transfers between plants.
Ensure compliance with delivery performance requirements for critical and strategic customer contracts.
Collaborate with PLM, plant planners, engineering, plant management, and procurement to align plans and execution.
Measure and analyze actual production results versus plans and forecasts, adjusting ATP and resource allocations as needed.
Support production planning and scheduling activities, serving as a liaison with production, engineering, and continuous improvement teams.
