Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Requirements

  • Associate's in supply chain, business or technical field OR minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working independently in a dynamic, business/manufacturing environment
  • Computer Literate in MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Report regularly to management on status, performance, and key metrics for assigned products.
  • Manage the master production schedule to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels and production variability.
  • Coordinate demand recognition in MRP for new product introductions and product transfers between plants.
  • Ensure compliance with delivery performance requirements for critical and strategic customer contracts.
  • Collaborate with PLM, plant planners, engineering, plant management, and procurement to align plans and execution.
  • Measure and analyze actual production results versus plans and forecasts, adjusting ATP and resource allocations as needed.
  • Support production planning and scheduling activities, serving as a liaison with production, engineering, and continuous improvement teams.
