About The Position

The Planner Scheduler plans and optimizes a detailed production schedule to align customer demand, inventory levels, and production capacity. The role schedules more than 30 plastic injection molding machines, coordinates resources across departments, monitors material and finished-goods inventory, and works to ensure on-time delivery while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Previous experience planning and scheduling plastic injection molding machines and labor.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills and knowledge of IQMS.
• Meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule 30+ plastic injection molding machines while minimizing downtime and maximizing machine utilization.
• Coordinate with other departments to allocate the resources, materials, equipment, and personnel needed to run production effectively.
• Anticipate and mitigate issues or shortages that could interrupt production.
• Oversee raw-material and finished-goods inventory to ensure adequate supply for upcoming scheduled runs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and decrease downtime.
• Ensure timely delivery of customer goods and proactively communicate potential delays.
