About The Position

Acts as the focal point for all daily inter-organizational activities related to service parts inventory control. This role is responsible for maintaining optimal inventory levels of service parts and accessories to meet all dealer body demands across various sales entities. The primary goal is to ensure a target service level for customers while managing inventory levels and months of supply effectively.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business-related disciplines or equivalent directly related work experience.
• Proven total competency in the execution of duties and responsibilities as a Parts Supply Planner I.
• A minimum of one to two years in the position of Parts Supply Planner I.
• Experience involving detailed analysis and/or parts forecasting.
• Knowledge of parts inventory control, forecasting, and distribution principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret statistical demand patterns and supply rules.
• Ability to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with SPM or similar planning software.

Responsibilities

• Reviews, analyzes, and maintains optimum inventory levels of parts using tools such as SPM, SAP, SAS, and system-generated reports.
• Identifies parts requiring special analysis and performs such analyses as requested by management.
• Coordinates with suppliers for status updates, expedites, and other supply-related issues.
• Provides detailed background and ETA status to AIPDN staff.
• Performs stock adjustments, scraps, or other inventory transactions within two days of receipt.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
