The Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy supports renewable energy and energy efficiency policies and programs that help promote clean energy and reduce energy use and their impact on our climate and the state’s environment and public health. This position works as part of the energy policy team within the DNREC State Energy Office in the DNREC Division of Climate, Coastal and Energy. The DNREC State Energy Office works to promote clean, affordable and reliable energy while advancing policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen energy resilience across the State. The energy policy team has responsibilities which include managing implementation of the State Energy Plan, preparation of policy briefs, grant management, and staffing stakeholder bodies.
