About The Position

Planner I is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production for assigned product lines. Identify schedule conflicts and work with stakeholders to develop solutions. Manage the OCR expedite process. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Experience utilizing ERP systems such as Syteline, SAP, and Oracle.
  • Intermediate level or higher Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Experience utilizing Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word.
  • One (1) to Three (3) years of experience planning within a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
  • Must be able to fluently speak and write in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with kanban and other inventory control concepts a plus.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Works in a safe manner, following all established safety guidelines.
  • Ensures that job orders and appropriate engineering documents are printed and distributed in a timely manner to satisfy the monthly MPS (Master Production Schedule) output requirements.
  • Coordinates all OCR activities related to product flow to satisfying pull requirements and customer commitments.
  • Coordinates all expediting activities relative to Airbus and other accounts, if assigned.
  • Plans product line(s) as assigned.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure OP and raw material items are on order and arriving as per schedule for assigned product line items.
  • Create MRP workbench and act upon suggested releases and messages.
  • Follow-up on any rejected items to ensure timely replacement order or to confirm the date for expect rework activity to be completed.
  • Working with Production, ensure that job orders remain on schedule to satisfy the plan.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
