About The Position

Under general supervision, conducts research and analysis on community development projects and issues; and performs related work as assigned. The current vacancy is within the Entitlements Division of Current Planning. In entitlements, the successful applicant will process land use applications, review development proposals, write staff reports, complete research, and provide front counter customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Planning, Geography, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a closely related field OR Associate’s Degree with a major in Planning, Geography, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of experience conducting research and analysis on planning, zoning, or community development issues
• An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
• Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or “border state” driver’s license as defined by NRS 483
• Completed Employment Application
