This is an entry-level position, with responsibility for performing clerical tasks, research, and writing. Essential duties and responsibilities include researching, compiling and analyzing data related to planning issues and specific applications, writing issue papers and technical reports, assisting planners with research and other technical information, filling in at the Front Desk and answering telephones as needed, coordinating public notification and outreach activities, preparing minutes of planning meetings, and providing information to the general public regarding zoning, comprehensive planning, inspections, and other related matters.
