Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Bilingual (French/English)
  • 2 years of data entry experience and/or 2 years of experience coordinating the maintenance of a vehicle fleet or in a related field
  • Computer proficiency, including the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to enter data with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit/-25 degrees Celsius in refrigerated warehouses or as high as 100 degrees Fahrenheit/37 degrees Celsius in dry warehouses, while wearing personal protective equipment and cold storage work attire provided by the company
  • Ability to adapt to flexible work schedules and shift rotations, including weekends if necessary or on a rotation basis
  • Must be comfortable with varying noise levels, which can sometimes be intense

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with maintenance management to obtain approval for all maintenance work plans and determine resource availability.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the relevant maintenance provider(s) to ensure timely repair of equipment or assets.
  • Communicate the resource schedule to management, including any facility and/or asset shutdowns.
  • Manage the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and/or enterprise asset management (EAM) system to update work orders, accurately track planning and scheduling performance indicators, and provide timely reports to management.
  • Track and maintain compliance program records, actions resulting from compliance audits, and provide status updates.
  • Liaise with the safety compliance committee and environmental services for any specific issues, if necessary.
  • Provide feedback on continuous improvement of operations.
  • Ensure that warranties on assets and components are leveraged to reduce expenses, where applicable.
  • May be authorized to request quotes and approve necessary repairs for equipment maintenance.
  • Forward quote approval requests to a higher level of management once a predetermined threshold has been reached, where applicable.
