The mission of this role is the administration of transportation requirements for materials between Plants and Distribution Centers (finished product, raw materials, packaging, deliveries, pallets, etc.); through the optimal planning of available resources; based on the operational restrictions of the logistics network.

Requirements

  • Completed and verifiable degree in Transportation Engineering.
  • Experience as a Transportation Analyst (2 years).
  • Experience as a Warehouse Analyst (2 years).
  • Experience as a Manager of an Automotive Mechanical Workshop (1 year).

  • Master's degree or Postgraduate studies.

Responsibilities

  • Define, coordinate, and evaluate the daily transportation program, ensuring the correct planning of resources and the fulfillment of logistics operations.
  • Schedule the daily activities of transporters and personnel involved in plants and distribution centers to guarantee the efficient execution of the operational plan.
  • Release the transportation program to suppliers and involved areas, maintaining control and follow-up of the operation.
  • Evaluate the performance of the transportation program's compliance, identifying deviations and proposing operational improvements.
  • Coordinate adjustments to the transportation program in case of contingencies, ensuring operational continuity and fulfillment of requirements.
  • Balance the operation by optimally allocating transportation resources to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Execute and elaborate the maintenance and adjustment of optimization model parameters, ensuring its correct functioning within the logistics network.
  • Administer the parameters, restrictions, and configurations of the planning and optimization system for adequate decision-making.
  • Maintain and update master data and operational profiles in planning tools to ensure information accuracy.
  • Evaluate internal and external transportation requirements, adapting planning to changes in logistics operations.
  • Perform daily transportation scheduling runs in the system to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze planning results and transportation performance to optimize resources and improve operational efficiency.
