About The Position

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh as a Placement Broker based out of our New York City office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office. The successful candidate will lead daily operations from a support and administrative level, coordinating complex logistics and task assignments for client relationship projects while ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience with proven success working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
  • Solid knowledge of market risk issues, insurance brokerage, account management, and servicing.
  • Proficiency with business systems and technology; prior insurance experience with a broker or carrier.
  • P&C license or ability to obtain; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize your risk expertise and industry knowledge to analyze client exposures and develop tailored insurance solutions.
  • Manage the placement process including soliciting quotes, negotiating with panel markets, and ensuring accuracy of insurance programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, underwriters, and client teams to deliver best-in-class service.
  • Participate in renewal strategy meetings and lead client M&A integrations related to local policies and divestitures.
  • Document all activities accurately in systems to ensure timely follow-up and compliance with global network standards.
