PLACA Stakeholder Coordinator
About The Position
The PLAA / Stakeholder Coordinator will support the coordination, tracking, and facilitation of all Permits, Licenses, Approvals, and Agreements (PLAA) related to construction and infrastructure works across the Pearson Airport campus. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with all regulatory and operational requirements, while maintaining proactive communication with GTAA operations, tenants, and other stakeholders. Leveraging prior liaison experience, the Coordinator will help ensure seamless collaboration between project teams and Stakeholders throughout planning and delivery.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience supporting permitting, stakeholder coordination, or construction administration within complex, operational environments (aviation experience preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Familiarity with environmental and operational permitting processes at municipal, provincial, and federal levels.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and tracking systems such as Smartsheet or SharePoint.

Responsibilities
- Support the identification, documentation, and coordination of all PLAA requirements for construction and infrastructure activities.
- Prepare and assist with permit and approval submissions, collaborating with technical leads, GTAA representatives, and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with operations and stakeholder groups to plan and sequence work around live airport activities and minimize operational impacts.
- Track approval timelines and dependencies to ensure alignment with project schedules and identify potential risks or delays.
- Maintain and update the PLAA Tracker and ensure compliance records are complete and accurate.
- Attend coordination and stakeholder meetings; document key actions, decisions, and risks for follow-up.
- Facilitate clear communication between internal project teams, GTAA departments, and external agencies.
- Assist with the preparation of stakeholder engagement materials and notifications related to construction and operational interfaces.
- Contribute to project reporting and compliance summaries under the direction of the PLAA / Stakeholder Manager.
- Ensure all work adheres to GTAA safety, security, and environmental standards.
