Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on application development experience with Oracle PL/SQL
• Proficient in Oracle Database, SQL performance tuning, and database development tools (Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD)
• Skilled in writing and maintaining PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions
• Experience with version control tools (GitLab, SVN)
• Strong technical documentation abilities
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology and Jira
• Must reside within 35 miles of Columbus, Ohio

Nice To Haves

• Oracle Retail product suite knowledge
• Experience with Oracle Forms
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Database

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test advanced PL/SQL database programs, packages, procedures, and functions
• Analyze, inspect, and document existing database functionality to ensure accuracy and compliance with standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing ongoing technical support for Oracle databases and applications
• Optimize SQL statements and application code for maximum performance and scalability
• Maintain detailed technical documentation and support ongoing enhancements
• Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams, actively participating in ceremonies to deliver project milestones
• Contribute to deployment, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support Oracle Cloud Database and Oracle Retail product suite environments as needed
