Catholic PK4 Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a Catholic part-time PK 4 teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic Preschool classroom for 13 hours per week in their Austin, TX Center. This role does not require a teaching certification or formal teaching experience, as all necessary training will be provided. The position involves teaching in a Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays, with provided childcare/nursery. Applicants must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church and demonstrate a deep love for the Catholic faith. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be supplied, and tutors will be trained in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and must be living the Catholic faith daily, including having received all appropriate sacraments. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training prior to employment. Tutors are expected to prepare for classes at home and teach in a highly structured environment. Mandatory training is scheduled for August 4, 5, and 6, 2026, from 8 am to 5 pm, with childcare not provided but nursing babies welcome.
Requirements
- Must be Catholic.
- Must be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
- Must have a deep love for the Catholic faith.
- Must be living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
- Standard computer skills (ideally with Google Suite or equivalent).
- Must be available to attend mandatory training on August 4, 5, and 6, 2026 (8am-5pm).
- Must have a clear background check.
- Must complete RCA Safe Child training prior to teaching.
