About The Position

Brillante Academy Public Charter School, which opened in August 2023, currently serves over 420 students in the Mission area and surrounding communities. For the 2026-2027 school year, Brillante will offer PreK3 through 4th grade and will expand by one grade level annually until 8th grade. The school plans to grow its network across Texas to serve over 7,000 students within the next decade. Brillante Academy is managed by Seton Education Partners, a Catholic-inspired organization that also oversees the Seton Teaching Fellows program and El Camino, an optional after-school Catholic faith formation program. Seton Education Partners also manages the Brilla Schools Network in Bronx, NY. Brillante Academy is a two-way, dual language school that aims to empower scholars and the community through an innovative approach combining personalized blended learning and co-teaching with a classical education model. The school emphasizes teaching the whole child, fostering character development through core values (courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control), and maintaining high academic standards with a content-rich curriculum. The goal is to prepare scholars for success in high school, college, and beyond, enabling them to become bilingual and biliterate citizens who positively impact their community as problem solvers, advocates, and contributors. Brillante is committed to holistic child development and creating a joyful community for families and staff. Requirements

  • Belief in the Brillante Academy mission, model and values
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher from an accredited institution
  • Possession of current Texas teaching certification with Bilingual and/or ESL endorsements (or enrolled in alternative certification program by first day of employment)

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant early childhood or elementary teaching experience with demonstrated student results preferred
