About The Position

The In-Store Team Member prepares menu items, assists customers by phone and in the store, and expedites orders from the cut table. Team members may work part-time or full-time, with schedules described as flexible around other commitments. Opportunities for advancement are available, including movement into management or franchise ownership.

The role involves taking and processing orders, operating store equipment, stocking and preparing ingredients and products, receiving telephone orders, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Work requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, and hand use, and may include lifting and carrying supplies, navigating stairs, and working in varied temperatures and other conditions described below.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be willing and able to work all in-store stations.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly; a calculator may be used.
• Ability to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Ability to operate all store equipment.
• Ability to speak, hear, and understand verbal communication in person and by telephone.
• Near- and mid-range vision and depth perception for in-store tasks, and ability to distinguish hot from cold surfaces.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, interact with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.
• Ability to stand for most tasks and walk frequently for short distances and durations.
• Ability to lift deliveries, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds, and stack them on shelves up to 72 inches high.
• Ability to carry items weighing up to 30 pounds as described in the posting.
• Ability to push or pull trays or products on dollies and move empty trays or trash cans.
• Ability to occasionally navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
• Ability to bend, crouch, squat, and reach continuously as job tasks require.
• Eye-hand coordination and continuous hand use; ability to use forearms and wrists forcefully to shape pizza dough and grasp and manipulate work tools and products.

Responsibilities

• Work all in-store stations, including making menu items, assisting customers by phone and in person, and expediting orders from the cut table.
• Take and process customer orders verbally, by telephone, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Operate store equipment.
• Stock ingredients and supplies from the delivery area to storage, work areas, and the walk-in cooler.
• Prepare products.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Clean equipment and the facility approximately daily.
• Unload deliveries and move, carry, and store ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Perform tasks such as stocking shelves, cleaning, and occasional maintenance.
